I loved being able to take the ski bus to the nearby resorts and the beautiful golf course. The hotel had great facilities like a ski storage room with a boot dryer, sauna, and steam cabin. Fresh towels were even provided in the wellness area.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Engel in Alberschwende. The lady at the reception was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and we also enjoyed the great food served at the restaurant for dinner. The hotel also offers bike rentals and has a garage to store them. The parking space was ample, and everything in the hotel was well-organized and ran smoothly. We loved the hiking and cycling trails around the hotel, as well as the summer card that provided free access to buses and outdoor swimming pools. The location was convenient, with a bus stop just across the hotel, and it was a short journey to Bregenz and Lake Constance.

The location of Engel was perfect for exploring the surrounding towns. The bus stop right across the hotel made it convenient to get to Bregenz and other nearby destinations. We enjoyed renting bikes from Inter Sport and exploring the beautiful area of Alberschwende. Our room had a lovely garden view, making for a peaceful sleep. The hotel itself was spacious and clean, and the breakfast spread was excellent. Although we only ate dinner at the hotel once and weren't too impressed, there was an inn across the road with delicious food and reasonable prices. The lady at the reception spoke English fluently and was incredibly helpful and friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay at Engel and would happily return in the future.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel surrounded by stunning scenery. The staff were incredibly hospitable and enthusiastic, instantly making us feel at ease. We were thrilled to have access to a wellness suite, fitted with a sauna and steam room - perfect for a rejuvenating and romantic escape. the breakfast spread was sensational, offering a variety of treats that catered for every dietary requirement.

If I had to select a negative aspect, it would be the challenge of finding other food options in close proximity to the hotel. Although the hotel itself was in a fantastic central location, we found that there were relatively few dining options nearby.

The hotel had a decent spread for breakfast and the rooms were spacious. The location was also convenient as it was close to a bus stop and had easy access to nearby towns. However, what I enjoyed the most was the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

The staff was not accommodating to English-speaking guests like myself. One waiter in particular was incredibly rude and refused to serve us or even give us drinks.
